My Bio
I've been on DA for some years now, but in truth I'm only just beginning to establish myself an identity here. Why so long? Two reasons: first, I originally joined DA only so that I could keep track of my favorites and watch people; I didn't start to use the site as a literary outpost until a couple years ago. Second, I'm a serious loner.

In fact, if there's any one thing people really need to understand about me, it that: I'm a loner. I don't talk a lot, even on the internet. That's not to say I don't like talking or have no interest in what you're saying. I have a few people on DA that I consider friends and pay close attention to. But I very very rarely contact anyone, including those friends. Part of it is me not knowing what to say. Another part is that I don't really think it's necessary to voice things that I can see others are already saying. It's not that I'm unfriendly - people who know me consider me one of the friendliest guys ever - I'm just quiet. Most conversation I get involved in are started by the other party. I also don't update my journal as much as others, because I honestly don't think the day-to-day events of my life is that interesting. A trivial matter, really.

So know this: if I'm the one who initiates contact, know that I feel that what I'm saying is extremely important. I wouldn't do so otherwise. And if I go for weeks or even months without saying anything, it's not that I don't like you or have forgotten; that's just me with nothing worthwhile to add.

Yeah, socially I'm a bit of an odd duck. But I've come to accept that, and I hope others who read this will be able to accept it, too.

But for those who came here for the nitty-gritty, here's a tidbit: I'm a devoted gamer and writer. I love Italian cuisine, horror movies and geeky topics (even the ones I know nothing about). I'm perpetually single (a result of my loner lifestyle) and generally okay with that, though I'm always looking. And... well, I can't think of anything else at the moment.

So... I haven't done anything on DA in a while. I still come here daily to search my watch list, keep up with certain people and purchase commissions, but for the most part I've completely moved my literary operations to FIMFiction.net. And yet every now and again someone finds something I posted here and watches me. After seeing this happen two or three times, I figure... y'know what? I should at least give these people an idea of what I've been up to, just to show that I'm not really dead. 100% of what I write now is My Little Pony fanfiction, and I'm steadily growing a following. I'll be joining a few MLP groups here on DA and posting so

Yeah, so I wake up this morning pretty early (for me) and I'm feeling like reading a little something. I hop on FIMFiction, my current haunt, expecting nothing exciting. BOOM, have 30 alerts! I'm thinking it's a glitch; I don't get taht much attention in a whole week, much less a few hours. But then I find my awesome friend RainbowBob has posted a blog featuring two of my MLP fanfictions sometime last night. HOLY. SMACK. This guy has close to 1000 followers! There is no telling how much attention this is going to grab me. It's got to be one of the best birthday gifts I ever got, and I don't think he even knows it's my birthday! My appreciati

Forgot to post last week. Ah well, what can you do? For those wanting to know the deal with my MLP fanfiction, it's not dead. Not even close. I just decided to post it on FIMfiction.net because I knew it would get a ton more views there. I'm actually already finished with the first part and am halfway finished with the second. Anyone out there still interested should check here: http://www.fimfiction.net/user/PaulAsaran . My writing proceeds at a good pace, and I'm so interested in the material I'm actually avoiding games to write on it. Anyone who knows me knows that this is a rare event; me, not play video games for more than a day? Blasph

Who's your favorite to least favorite of the mane 6 in order?
May you not see it as me having a negative opinion of the last character.

Favorite: Rarity
Twilight
Fluttershy
Applejack
Pinkie Pie
Rainbow Dash

Note: the only reason RD is on bottom is because she's been given such crummy treatment as a character in the show itself.
Oh wow! I've read and enjoyed a bunch of your MLP:FiM fan fictions! You are really good at writing! I wish I could've left you a detailed review for each story when I had just finished them and they were fresh in my mind, but alas, the website didn't permit non-users to comment. :(

I've even shared some of the stories I liked with someone I know, who also enjoyed reading them too. And now having stumbled upon your Deviant Art page, I just thought I should stop and take a moment to say "Thank you".

"One Night at Fluttershy's", "Best Laid Plans: Well, She Tried", and "Of Angels" were some of the most notable MLP of your stories to me. And I really thought it was so creative the way you told the majority of "Of Angels" in a chat-room form, and still managed to keep it so engaging! I also really liked how you brought out the dynamics of what was an otherwise flat character with that story. It's one of my top two favorite 'Angel Bunny' fics, the other one being "Guardian Angel - by SparkBrony".

Anyways... Again, thank you very much for sharing your works. It is very appreciated. :cheery:
And thank you so very much for the praise!I don't often see people from FIMFiction around here, so it's nice when I bump into one... or one bumps into me, as is the case. I hope the things I produce in the future are just as worth your time, because I enjoyed creating every single one. It's especially nice since I think most people follow me for my reviews now.

Alas, I don't do much on DA. I stick around this place largely to collect art and never post anything anymore. I used to publish original stories here, but I haven't done anything like that in... well, ages.

But thanks for the praise again! Mayhap I'll be seeing you around.
Is that you in the photo above..?
it's kinda funny how you make Ponies thingies but you look like a mature man

Heheh.
